FAUX PAS

6 March 2006

37 South Film’s latest promo, FAUX PAS was filmed at the lush locale, Polly Bar. As the pictures above illustrate, it's a setting Baz Lurhmann would love and was simply perfect for our latest promo. FAUX PAS is a promotional ad illustrating the filmic style and skills of the team at 37 South Films.

The brief for our latest promo was: 'Keep it simple and keep it under budget'.  So we made it rain inside Polly.

Director Aaron Wilson's distinct cinematic visual style and minimalist narrative have proved a success in his various films and television commercials. His short films include the award-winning mood piece, RENDEZVOUS (2003) and TEN FEET TALL (2005). Aaron has an eye for detail in creating engaging dramatic moments. Having grown up in rural Australia, Aaron’s love of filmmaking and understated human drama developed through photographing his local small town community. Since then, his focus on these subjects has only intensified.

FAUX PAS is a lush, quirky period piece, demonstrating our team's filmic style and creativity.  FAUX PAS is available for viewing in an attachment -  so we won't prat on about how gorgeous we think it is… judge for yourself.
