WHIPPY JOE is 37 South Film's first promo short. Shot in one day in Bulleen Park, 37 South called in family and friends to help cast the shoot.
Starring Jason Gann (WILFRED, SBS) as the skeevy ice cream salesman, WHIPPY JOE is a tongue-in-cheek example of 37 South's creativity. It is an exploration of the idea "Communication is Everything", that doesn't need to resort to the usual, tired cliches (and yes, we're aware "tired cliche" is a cliche).
Directed by Matt Kamen, produced by Helen Bitmead and shot by Colin Bell, WHIPPY JOE is a perfect example of the 37 South sense of humour. All good looking, popular people find it endlessly amusing - why not watch for yourself, and see how you measure up?
