Focus on Public Transport
May , 2011
In May, 37 South films produced a 3-minute film for Metlink called ‘Travel Safely’, one in a series.
Metlink approached 37 South Films to produce a piece that would educate and entertain secondary school students and community groups on the importance of safety and behaviour on public transport.
With the creative approach in place, the technique was 100% edit-driven – an engaging approach using both still and animated icons, voiceover and music, culminating in a great result.
The film’s premiere will be at the launch of Metlink’s ‘Great Transport Race’ in May 2011.
37 South Films was engaged by Metlink to produce two DVDs to be used as part or our existing education program. During the tender process 37 South were able to articulate an understanding of our business objectives and requirements needed to engage with our target audience, which ranged from Preps to Year 10 students. This insight promoted a high level of confidence which was supported by the immediate delivery of two creative treatments which met all our core objectives and criteria. From conception to post production, the process has been considerate, thoughtful and efficient. 37 South Films’ professionalism ensured we enjoyed the creative journey which has produced two educational DVDs that we are extremely proud of.
